Mt. bruce

                     Mt. Bruce
Mt. Bruce Picture
It’s a long way to Mt. bruce from Moore road camp. We sat in the room that has lots of bird statues. The bird statues look so realistic. Then The lady named Chloe opened the door to the balcony that looked over the Takahe. They're dark blue, black and have a red beak and also have orange feet. They kind of look like a pukeko! Only rounded more!! We saw a kokako. The kokako could say it's own name! We  went into the free flight aviary. This was my favourite part! At last we saw manukura! Manukura is the white kiwi. She looks like if you touched her she would be sooo fluffy! She was playing tag with her boyfriend! Haa it was a very tiring but good day!!!!

To be specific it lives in the bush on the forest floor. It is the national symbol for new zealand.  The brown kiwi is nocturnal. The brown kiwi eats bugs and worms. It s call sounds like a smoke alarm.the brown kiwi is  endangered because of the amount of predators it has. You can see the  brown kiwi at mt bruce. You can save the kiwi!
